Product Review: “Mollee Natural” a skin by Clefairy.
Click the picture to try it on yourself.
*yawn* I’ve been so busy lately, so tiring… I’m finally getting round to this review, but if something doesn’t make sense, I’m sorry all, just tired.
I like the simplicity to this skin, soft natural features in the body and face.
I also like the tone of the skin, the peachyness sets the enhancements off, the lip colour choice was great too (though in your preview picture the lips are open lips and it must be the pose or the head, it didn’t show on my avatar, it looked so cute in the preview too, what head IS that?)
Things I’d improve?
The part between the lips and nose, is a little too straight.
I’d blend the stomach (the center highlight that looks like a “U” a bit more)
but that’s about it really.
I’d love to see some versions of this skin with more make up.
I give it a 4/5, good work Clefairy!

Before I start rambling on, I would like to say that I have been nothing but kind to this person, when I reviewed one of their items a while ago, I gave her some constructive criticism, she then asked to review some more of her work, but in the meantime I wish to review some other people so it doesn’t appear as though I’m favouring one particular person, here’s the thing though, I got this advertising message (Shown above in the pictures) and it basically is asking me to buy, review and advertise her products.

I sent her a reply simply stating (I don’t have the exact words, but it was along the lines of the following) “Please do not send me your spam, I do not want to your products, I’m a creator and I can make my own.”

But then she sent me that (what I’d call) nasty reply.

For one, Nowhere in the original message I got did it mention a fashion show.

Secondly, The sarcastic “SORRY” isn’t grounds for me to forgive you for what you said after.

Thirdly, You sent me what, seven products in that message, not two.

Fourthly, I’m not crying bro.

Further more the next statement peeves me off most, and I can tell it’s in spite or jealousy that you wrote it, because well, have you even attempted to properly create something before?

“Btw you need to work on your products a little more. Even if it’s original work it’s not pretty. Love you!”

Well, let me pick apart your statement here, and apply some actual educated thoughts and facts.

“you need to work on your products a little more”

At least my products are not simple recolours of the picture the mesher left on the product page with a print slapped on it (in some cases others are just recolours).

There are many products just like yours in the catalog already, because other people (I can’t even call creators, because you’re not “creating” anything essentially) have already submitted their recolours. Whilst it’s okay to use those meshes that have the picture left behind and recolour it, creators can make their own texture too, which is what I do, and is shown in some of my products above.

You my friend are the person that needs to “work on your products a little more”

Which brings me to my next point.

“Even if it’s original work it’s not pretty.”

My shoppers will disagree with you here.

Facts:

- I am a T5 Creator, you are a T0 Creator.

- My textures are not recolours, so they aren’t the same as 1000 other people’s submissions, therefore looking unique, and worth buying.

- I get sales on my products, every single day.

- I don’t make my products to satisfy you.

- Your recolours aren’t even that nice, but then I think no recoloured work is nice.

Here’s that review you asked for what? Three times.

I think that what you’ve said to me, is not only out of spite and jealously, because you know that your products actually are simple made, uninspired, nock-offs.

Also, just so you know, some of your icons are showing the wrong colour product, for instance the dip dye hair icon, is a blonde hair icon, and the ombre bikini isn’t black, but in fat pink.

Your work needs to become Your OWN work.

That’s all I have to say really

I’ve gone mad, mad I tell you.
I made loads of pants, and here’s the first lot of them, ripped skinny jeans, they’re pretty cool right?
If you want to try them on just click on the link under the picture, if clicking the picture doesn’t work, or search Socialite in the catalog, then click my name and it should be on the first page!
If you want them in a different size, just send me a message and 1k to submit them, you will have to buy them unless you give me an extra 700credits to gift them to you when they are done.
More coming soon.

PRODUCT REVIEW: “Valentines Furset” by Wen
♥ Click the image to try or buy the products.
The fur itself is quite well detailed, Wen is a rather new creator, though each fur she makes gets better and better as her skills improve, she can make both male and female fursets like this one, the soft detailing throughout the skin is well thought out and effective.
The ears are quirky and cute, though don’t really define what sort of creature this fur actually is (I think it’s a cat though)
The tail might be the only let down for me, It lacks definition the hair has, which is quite pretty :)
I just love this furset, it’s just so cute, the mixture of pink and cream, with the hearts, really does live up to it’s name as a valentine fur!
I’d give this furset a 4/5, love the colour combination, the pattern and subtle definitions.

Product Review “LilacDress” by AshlyHeartsCouture
First of all, I know she’s a new creator, and I encourage all people to keep pursuing creating as a hobby, practice makes perfect after all.
One thing experienced creators don’t like to see is recoloured parts of something that’s already made, in this case, the frills the mesher originally made are still there but have been changed to purple, whilst this is allowed, it is shunned upon because it shows the creator cannot make a texture for their own, if AshlyHeartsCouture had changed it, by adding more shadows, highlights or pattern, then it would be different.
Another thing about this dress is the top, I am pretty sure I’ve seen the pattern before on other creators products, taken off google or similar image hosting websites. Again, this practice is shunned, and sometimes in violation of copyright, if the original owner has no stated the pattern can be used for commercial use, or you haven’t personally got a statement from them allowing you to use it for commercial use, they can sue.
I don’t think the top and bottom match either…
Again, I don’t want to discourage new creators, but help them realise what is commonly acceptable or not in the community.
I’d be nice and give this a 1/5 for effort, or the lack there of. Icon needs to be made as well.
